Tasks
Your responsibilities:
- Converting a computer vision and/or image signal processing algorithm into an FPGA implementation using System Verilog and Xilinx/Altera toolchains
- Optimizing FPGAs for timing closure
- Defining interface requirements for FPGAs in an imaging system context
- Building vendor-neutral FPGA/RTL designs intended to prototype ASIC implementations
- Collaborating in a team environment across multiple engineering disciplines
- Specification, implementation and testing of FPGA based real time video processing architectures
- Contribution to technical documentation
- Communication with external industry partners on a technical level
Requirements
Your qualifications:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline is a plus
- Profound experience in modular, FPGA and system architecture definition and design
- Profound experience in one of FPGA Vendors: Xilinx/Altera parts, tool chains, System Verilog (is a big plus), Verilog or VHDL
- Knowledge of C for hardware bring up
- Experience in other languages like Python or Tcl
- Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German language considered as a plus
