Computer Vision Specialist

We are looking for a Computer Vision Specialist (m/f/d) for our VIENNA or MUNICH office in Full Time.

Tasks

• Design and apply algorithms – from classical computer vision models to deep learning approaches – for medical imaging tasks, including segmentation, tracking, and classification tasks
• Evaluate and report the performance of our models
• Integrate our algorithms in our software products, piur tUS and piur inside
• Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented Python and C++ code.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing algorithms for performance and accuracy

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional experience in a company in which you were able to gain:

• Experience with computer vision, ideally in the field of medical image processing
• Experience with PyTorch, or another major deep learning framework
• Strong proficiency in Python, basic familiarity of C++
• Experience with essential computer vision libraries, including OpenCV, NumPy, ITK, VTK or similar
• Strong understanding of good software engineering practices
• Experience or interest in MLOps (e.g. Airflow), including the utilization of cloud providers

Additionally:

• Excellent English skills, additional German is a plus

Nice to have:

• Experience with ultrasound imaging systems, carotid artery imaging, or other cardiovascular imaging modalities is highly desirable
• Experience or interest in MLOps (e.g. Airflow)
