Your Tasks

• Define product requirements and specifications based on customer feedback, industry standards, and technological advancements.
• Develop and execute the product development roadmap for our BIPV module portfolio (focus X-Roof & X-Tile) such as for Façade PV applications.
• Steer internal/external stakeholders including roof engineering, sales, marketing, trainings, procurement such as suppliers throughout the concept, design, and testing/certification stages until full technical marketability of the product and handover to commercial market launch
• Define product and process quality standards based on requirements of national certification bodies and ensure manufacturer`s continuous compliance with these
• Lead product development such as product launch projects with full timeline and budget responsibility
• Identify synergy potentials to improve accessory gross margin (supplier evaluation, accessory production within WB group etc.) and steer the development of adjacent accessories (Snow hooks, roof window connection kits, etc.) in collaboration with Roof PM, engineering, manufacturing and supplier partners
• Provide technical support to sales, marketing and specification teams, and also if relevant directly in contact with different customer target groups
• Facilitate the access to market of the products, and accountable for the smooth supply-chain from the suppliers to the countries
• Execute full product ownership including change management steering (certificates, TDS, manuals, PriMa)
• Monitor product related key performance and quality indicators and derive corrective measures with after sales and suppliers
• Stay abreast of European level industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to BIPV modules

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field or respective practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or product development within the renewable energy or solar industry
• Profound understanding of solar module technology, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products from conception over commercialization until end-of-life in a fast-paced industry
• Strong analytical solution focused mindset, practical experience in product design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction
• Experience in the effective utilization of project management methodologies and tools to ensure structured and timely product development and launch
