As Director of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our corporate strategy and M&A activities - both at the business unit level and across the entire group. You will drive the strategic vision, integrate divisional activities, and collaborate closely with the Executive Board to ensure long-term success.

Your Challenge

* Strategy Development: Shape and develop the corporate strategy at a group level in close collaboration with strategic leaders from divisions, business units, and the executive board
* M&A Strategy and Execution: Develop strategic M&A opportunities and oversee negotiations, due diligence processes, and post-merger integrations
* Business Development & Trend Scouting: Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends to drive innovation and growth
* Market & Competitive Analysis: Assess market trends and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and mitigate risks
* Team Leadership & Development: Guide, mentor, and develop the team through clear goal setting, coaching, and continuous learning initiatives
* Strategic Partnerships & Networking: Build and maintain a strong network of industry partnerships to support key strategic initiatives

Your Profile

* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field
* Extensive professional experience in corporate strategy within a global industrial company or a strategy consulting firm
* Proven expertise in developing and executing corporate strategies, with a strong track record in M&A, Due Diligence, and Post-Merger Integration processes, as well as successfully identifying and implementing growth strategies
* Strong leadership skills in managing international, cross-functional project teams and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes at all organizational levels
* Industry expertise and deep understanding of relevant sectors are highly advantageous
* Exceptional analytical skills, business case development expertise, and a solution-oriented mindset
* Innovative thinking, strong communication abilities, and leadership mindset
* Fluency in German and English

The position is based in Vienna or Kremsmünster.
