Software Tester

Derstandard is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating and executing test cases, and contributing to our continuous improvement processes. As a Software Tester, you will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early in the development cycle and provide feedback that enhances product functionality and user experience. You will have the opportunity to work in an Agile environment, utilizing your skills in both manual and automated testing methodologies. Your role will also involve maintaining comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and defect reports. • Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development life cycle
• Collaborate with development teams to understand features and design test strategies
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and usability
• Automate testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role in quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
