Role Description

Txture is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. Txture is a globally leading SaaS product for Cloud Modernization and FinOps. As a Sales Engineer, you will work with the sales team to facilitate the sales process with your technical expertise. You will run technical deep dive demos for potential clients, answer technical questions, and run Proof of Concept projects. In those conversations, you will gather client requirements to work out presentable solutions to the client. You will also collaborate closely with the post-sales consulting team to ensure smooth handovers and with the product team to feedback what you learned from your client conversations. You will also help out the post-sales customer success team with client onboarding.

These tasks are waiting for you

  • Run technical presentations and demos

  • Discover technical requirements and the client’s challenges to craft solutions and a value proposition for the client

  • Be the technical lead and trusted technical advisor in the sales process

  • Answer deployment and security related questions during the sales process

  • Run Proof of Concept projects with clients

  • Work closely with the product team to drive product strategy, roadmap items, and feature requests to address customer needs.

Your profile

  • A degree in STEM and/or strong IT experience.Knowledge of/experience in the cloud ecosystem, FinOps, IT transformation, or willingness to continuously expand your knowledge

  • General technical understanding of IT infrastructure and software product

  • Analytical mind and problem-solving / solution-oriented mindset

  • Project management experience

  • Previous experience in sales or sales engineering is a plus

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus

  • EU citizenship or valid work permit for Austria

  • On-site in Vorarlberg (Unterland) or Innsbruck/Tyrol area; alternatively remote work option from Germany or Austria

  • Entrepreneurial spirit - ability to flourish in a fast-paced start-up environment, results-focused, and a can-do attitude

  • Our salary is based on the IT collective agreement in Austria, with the intention of overpayment. The salary includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions
