Component Lead - Observability (m/f/x)

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Component Lead to spearhead our Observability team. This role involves assessing the current observability landscape, consolidating and optimizing tools, and ensuring their reliable operation. You will play a key role in building a team, defining best practices, and driving observability adoption across the company.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
- Ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of observability tools, providing high availability and reliability.
- Deliver strategic insights and reports on observability trends and improvements.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing observability solutions and practices within the organization.
- Essential role in the creation and refinement of the overall observability strategy.
- Drive the consolidation and optimization of observability solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Mimir, Thanos).
- Experience in tool consolidation and optimization within a complex IT environment.
- Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
