What you do

The Senior HR Organizational Design Specialist will play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic initiatives led by the Global Head of HR Operations. This seasoned professional will spearhead key Organizational Design projects, including TOM implementation, Organizational Streamlining, and Strategic Workforce Management, with a focus on enhancing organizational health and agility at a global scale across multiple regions and countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of the FTE management process across all functions and Business Units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Direct the Organizational Streamlining initiative by establishing robust organizational design guidelines and overseeing their implementation, including optimizing management layers and spans of control.
  • Develop sophisticated reporting tools to facilitate the management of Organizational Streamlining norms, enabling strategic discussions with Global Functional Heads and Lines of Business to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Provide expert consultation to Functional Heads and Board Members during the execution of strategic projects, offering insights on advanced Organizational Design options.
  • Assume a leadership role in managing organizational governance, ensuring strict adherence to Organizational Streamlining norms during reorganizations and changes in reporting lines.
  • Ensure the accurate representation of the organization across all core systems (including cost center structures, foundational objects in SAP SF, and downstream systems) in accordance with defined governance standards.
  • Drive Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives at the Global, Functional, Regional, and Local levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Allianz Group level stakeholders to meet various reporting requirements and engage in high-level discussions to manage deliverables effectively.
  • Advocate for org design principles across the business, ensuring stakeholders are informed of data quality status and required actions.
  • Foster strong partnerships with HR colleagues in local Business Units to address challenges and ensure compliance with Organization Design principles.


What you bring

  • ·6+ years of experience successfully delivering complex projects for large global organizations.
  • Master's degree in Business, HR Management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of organizational design measures and potentials (spans of control, layers, location strategy etc.).
  • Expertise in HR processes and HR IT systems, with a preference for SAP SF.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerBI; advanced skills in MS PowerAutomate are advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to drive complex projects, multi-task, and prioritize with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and consulting skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in presentation and the creation of communication materials, utilizing tools such as PowerPoint.
