Security Engineer Data Center – all genders

Our customer is one of the leading providers of mobile and broadband services in Austria. The company excels by it's customer-focused services, state-of the-art technology and the attempt to meet the individual needs of the customers. The aim of the company is to drive the development of technologies forward and to bring the digital world even closer to people. We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious "Security Engineer " who will be responsible for the continuous development and security of the data center.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operation and further development of security solutions with a focus on Palo Alto and Fortinet
• Continuous evaluation of new technolgies and trends around network and IT security
• 2nd and 3rd level analysis, troubleshooting and ticketing
• Documantation and knowledge transfer to colleagues
• On-Call duty (every 5 weeks)

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in IT security, network technology (firewalls, LAN/WAN)
• Very good experience-based knowledge of IT security concepts
• Knowledge of firewalls
• Know-how with automation and scripting (reading and interpreting)
• Experience with PHP or Python would be a plus
• English is mandatory, German is an advantage

The annual salary starts at € 65.000,- p.a. – depending on experience and skills, it can and will be higher.
