The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-political and non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and uniting European Radiology. With more than 140,000 members worldwide, it has become the largest radiological society that organises one of the most innovative scientific congresses in this field, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), in Vienna.
We are looking for a new team member (full-time, 38.5h) to support the European School of Radiology (ESOR) in delivering high-quality educational programmes and workshops for radiologists worldwide.
We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented administrative all-rounder. You will be coordinating multiple projects, liaising between different stakeholders, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will join a collaborative team of six, working together to manage the logistics of various 70+ educational initiatives.
As part of our team, you'll handle the logistics and administration of ESOR’s educational initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination between faculty, sponsors, technical teams, and other stakeholders. Your main tasks will include:

General Administrative Tasks
Background: A degree is not required, but experience in event coordination, project administration, or a similar role is a plus!
Languages: Excellent English skills (written & spoken) – additional languages are a bonus
Tech-savvy: Comfortable with MS Office, Excel, Google Docs, and willing to learn new tools (e.g., WordPress, Buffer, InDesign)
Organised & detail-oriented: You love planning, structuring tasks, and keeping track of deadlines
️ Strong communicator: Most of your work will involve emailing and coordinating between different teams
✈️ Willing to travel 4–5 times per year (3–6 days per trip) for on-site workshops
Bonus points for: Experience in social media management, marketing, WordPress, or Canva
Work in an international, non-profit organisation making a real impact in medical education
Home Office – one day per week
✈️ Travel across Europe for workshops
Modern office in the heart of Vienna (U1, U2, U3, U4 connections)
⏳ Flexible working hours ("Gleitzeit")
Salary: Minimum €2,350 gross/month (14x per year) for a 38.5h-week. The final salary based on qualifications and experience.
