Auf diesen Job bewerbenReporting to the National Sales Director, Germany, the Regional Sales Manager, South Germany is key for the implementation, execution, monitoring and managing of our commercial sales strategy in the field and the improvement of our operational sales effectiveness capabilities. The Regional Sales Manager accomplishes sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts. Achieving sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews as well as preparing and completing action and key account plans is of pivotal importance. The Regional Sales Manager is also responsible for identification, creating, managing and implementing SFE effectiveness improvements and projects to increase sales force intelligence and excellence in the team. The successful candidate is capable of working in an international and multicultural environment to help drive the success of the company. He or she should be analytical, confident, diplomatic, independent and entrepreneurial with excellent IT-knowledge and is also part of the local commercial leadership team in the country. He/she creates, develops and drives national strategies and tactics and ensures a close x-functional collaboration with medical, marketing, corporate affairs and market access in an exemplary manner.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES: The successful candidate must be able to perform each of the following satisfactorily:
Manages a team of 5-6 sales reps in an assigned geographic area to ensure they meet the full requirements of their role.
Understands and provides guidance on relevant human resource management issues (e.g. performance management, salary and compensation planning, incentives and rewards, recruiting and hiring procedures, disability provisions etc.).
Establishes and meets future developmental needs of the sales team.
Works with the team to create learning plans and recommends training and development solutions and provides mentoring and coaching as appropriate.
Clearly defines roles, responsibilities and measurable outcomes for all activities of the team.
Accountable for the selling effort and sales fulfillment in an assigned geographic area.
Maximizes sales and minimizes expenses in assigned area. Responsible for achieving all geographic product revenue and expense targets.
Provides recommendations on customer strategies, coordinates the development of territory business plans.
Coordinates market sales analysis data interpretation for the region. Directs planning and promotional activities within area of geographic (or therapeutic) responsibility.
Plans forecasts, manages operating budgets and monitors expenses. May have profit and loss responsibility.
Understand the legal and compliance environment and drive collaboration with the Legal and Compliance team
Drive the spirit of "ONE Team" across all functions by supporting a team approach to focus on our patients and customers as our top priorities

Experience and SkillsQUALIFICATIONS:
Scientific University degree (Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)
Experience with product launches into the specialty or orphan market, good understanding of the science of medicinal products.
Experience with products in liver diseases would be beneficial
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Significant experience in pharmaceutical or relevant industry.
Previous team leadership experience.
Results-oriented, analytical, strategic, communication and decision-making skills.
Strong presentation skills
Strong selling competence and techniques, mixed with economical knowledge and skills
Strong scientific expertise and deep knowledge of physician’s requirements
Empathy in working with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
High coaching and training capabilities
Certified medical representative (§75 AMG) with robust medical expertise
Basic skills in English, both oral and written communications.
Fluency in German, both oral and written communications.
Learning agility and ‘scalability’ to take on increasing responsibility as Client grows
