With your expert knowledge, you can help to make the information and communication technology of the Federal Police secure and thus ensure the work of our 54,000 colleagues. We are looking for a consultant for security audits/penetration testers at the Potsdam location as soon as possible. As a technical security auditor, your task is to identify technical vulnerabilities in IT systems (from smartphones and complex IT procedures to operational systems such as drones and ships) and to assess their exploitability/criticality using a proof of concept. You will independently carry out IT security audits and penetration tests in the environment of the Federal Police, advise other specialist departments on the design of security architectures and carry out source code audits in the development areas. Requirements profile Completed university degree (Master/Dipl. univ.) in computer science, communications engineering or a comparable university degree program related to computer science Very good technical knowledge of Windows and Linux environments Good knowledge of information security topics Good knowledge of development and programming at least two years of professional experience in the field of IT security audits/penetration tests or IT forensics German language skills: business fluent in spoken and written (at least level C1) You have German or EU/EEA citizenship What we offer Long-term predictability - thanks to a secure job in the public sector.
