Student Position: System Validation Engineer (f/m/d)

The Department:

System Validation is developing and executing system level test cases that are as close as possible to how customers are using our automotive products. This includes software features, hardware features and (most important) the combination of both.

We are looking for your support in implementing software setups, hardware setups and test cases for high-end automotive products supporting UWB and NFC solutions as well as Secure Elements and secure Java Card applications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Implementation of Hardware Setups and Lab Environments

• Implementation of new features of test frameworks including unit testing

• Implementation of system test cases

• Execution of system test cases and support of hardware and software expects while debugging identified issues

• Creating effort estimates for your own deliverables

• Documenting and presenting own results

Your Profile:

• Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Biomedical Engineering or similar

• Interest in testing complex systems

• Willingness to work with lab and measurement instruments, evaluation boards and related hardware equipment

• Basic knowledge in C, C# and/or python

• Independent working style

• Good English skills in writing and speaking

• Curiosity and enjoying thinking outside the box

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 17- gross/hour.
