About the role

As an Industrial Engineer working within our concept team in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, you will take on a key role in the planning of our production system and the expansion of our factory (in Germany) for the automated production of building modules. In an interdisciplinary environment (simultaneous engineering approach), you will be responsible for creating production concepts in line with our operational business goals as part of product and process development. You will work closely with our product developers (building system experts, wall and ceiling elements), machine designers and a team for digital transformation (control systems, Industry 4.0).

Your area of responsibility includes production process planning from a performance perspective, as well as the description of production solutions through to implementation in digital process scattering. Value stream thinking and the documentation of manufacturing processes are important aspects of this:

• Planning of synchronized flow production incl. material flow considerations according to production line balancing standards
• Logical process descriptions of production solutions that also take information flows into account
• Transfer of product design drafts (wall/ceiling elements) into corresponding manufacturing processes
• Material and production flow analyses, value stream design according to lean manufacturing principles
• Production process planning, cycle time considerations and optimizations
• Factory/production flow simulation and performance optimization

Your profile

• Experience in the design and optimization of industrial production systems - ideally clocked flow principle
• Analytical, structured and documented working approach
• Logical approach in the definition of work systems and processes
• Methodological competence in relevant areas such as time studies (Refa, MTM), value stream design, waste analysis, workplace organization, operations research (e.g. linear / non-linear optimization)
• Experience with factory simulation and product start-ups in an industrial environment is an advantage
• Good communication skills, enjoy working in international / multi-disciplinary teams
• Fluent language skills in English and German (written and oral communication)

Austrian salary range, based on 14 months

€63.000 - €73.000 EUR
