Engineer R&D Prototyping (f/m/d)

In the role, you will be leading process development for various advanced technologies and ensuring efficient project progress.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead process development for technologies such as Desmear, E-less Cu plating, Acidic Clean-Pretreatment OR Laser drilling, Buildup Film Lamination.
• Screen, evaluate, specify, install, and qualify equipment for a group of processes, ensuring they meet budget, specifications, and timelines.
• Develop new processes and concepts in alignment with global R&D teams, AT&S plants, and R&D partners.
• Continuously improve processes, control standards, and exchange knowledge with other process specialists.
• Build expertise in substrate and packaging manufacturing, ensuring development meets the highest quality standards.
• Provide technical solutions for the implementation of AT&S innovation processes in collaboration with project leaders and engineers.

Your Profile

• Degree from University in Material science, Mechanical, Industrial engineering, Chemistry, or higher technical college.

• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer or Process Engineer in a focused area, preferable from the substrate or packaging industry.

• Knowledge of data evaluation, design of experiments, and quality tools (SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP, etc.).

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and good stress management.

• Experience working with intercultural teams and willingness to travel and stay abroad.

• Open-minded, with good communication and team-working skills.

• Proficient in computer skills (MS Office Package, JMP, Minitab).

• Willing to work in cleanrooms and overtime.

• Fluent in written and oral English.
