Sustainable Transport Specialist (f/m/d)

How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

* You will support in the shaping of ALDI"s future supply chain network with a focus on transport technologies
* As a Sustainable Transport Specialist, you will analyse the current supply chain and support the development of improvements focusing on transport logistics and emission reduction
* You will research and define technology requirements for transportation with a focus on sustainability
* Additionally, you will assist in estimating related cost impacts for the development of financial business cases and projections
* You will develop roadmaps and support our country teams in implementing green logistics initiatives
* Working in multi-national project teams you will develop solutions to create sustainable future supply chains for the ALDI SOUTH Group

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

* You hold a university degree, ideally with a focus on business, supply chain management, sustainability, or similar
* As a Sustainable Transport Specialist, you have relevant professional experience in the fields of consulting, transportation, or operational excellence
* Knowledge of the transportation industry and associated technologies is considered an asset
* You are proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
* You possess business-fluent English skills
* Your strong communication skills enable you to present complex information in a clear and simplified manner
* With an analytical mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit, you are also keen on staying up to date with the latest industry trends

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
